Texas Podiatrist Pleads Guilty to Bilking Medicare, Medicaid

William Goldman, DMP, a podiatrist from Paris, Texas, has pleaded guilty to charges of federal healthcare fraud, according to a North Texas E-News report.

Dr. Goldman submitted false claims to Medicare and Medicaid from 2003-2008, billing the federal programs for surgeries never rendered. He faces up to two years in prison and a forfeiture of $350,000 along with his medical license.
