The ASC will have the ability to accommodate over 100 extra patients in the area every month, according to the report.

In the last five years, Baylor Scott & White has seen a 30% increase in patients visiting its hospitals and clinics.

The new ASC will house ophthalmology, ENT, plastics and podiatry.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
