The 42,000-square-foot facility will include up to 10 operating rooms and 30 bed areas for patients pre- and post-surgery.

The organization is planning to apply for construction permits in July.

Slocum Orthopedics has 25 physicians on its staff, according to its website.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
