Tennessee hospital names chief of pediatric anesthesiology

Memphis-based Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital has tapped Joseph King, MD, as chief of pediatric anesthesiology, according to a May 6 report from ABC affiliate WBBJ. 

Dr. King will oversee anesthesia delivery for pediatric patients. He most recently served as vice chair and assistant professor in the department of anesthesiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. 

He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology for both adult and pediatric anesthesia and is a member of the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
