Cleveland Clinic has struck a partnership with management services organization Regent Surgical to develop an ASC network.
Regent Surgical, founded in 2001, aids health systems in developing, managing and operating ASCs, according to a May 7 news release from Cleveland Clinic. The company currently operates and manages ASCs across 13 states.
Cleveland Clinic and Regent will work together to develop ASCs, over which the health system will have majority ownership.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
