Nags Head, N.C.-based Outer Banks Health is opening a cardiology practice in May.

With Eastern Carolina Cardiovascular, which is located in OBH’s medical office building, set to close, patients will be able to transition to the OBH practice, according to an April 28 news release.

Lindsey White, MD, of ECC is retiring, but will continue to see patients at OBH during the transition period.

OBH is actively recruiting a full-time, on-site cardiologist for the practice, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
