Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health has broken ground on a new outpatient surgical center in Leland, N.C., StarNews Online reported April 29.
The center will address the growing need for surgical care in the region, according to the report. The project was first discussed in February 2023 and is expected to be completed in 2026.
Once completed, the facility will span 10,000 square feet and will include two operating rooms and two procedure rooms.
