GI Alliance has struck a strategic partnership with healthcare technology company Iterative Health.

The partnership aims to expand access to clinical trials for GI patients, according to an April 23 press release.

It will open up GI Alliance’s clinical research sites to Iterative Health’s site network. The network will add 21 active GI Alliance research sites that are currently conducting over 80 phase II–IV trials across GI and hepatology indications.

Iterative will now support over 70 research sites in the U.S. and Europe, according to the release. GI Alliance’s network totals 1,000 physicians at more than 400 locations in 20 states.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
