Medline has been named the primary vendor for ASC Viewmont Surgery Center in Hickory, N.C.
The ASC specializes in otolaryngology, orthopedics, total joints, spine and pain management, according to an April 17 press release.
Medline has been supplying the facility for more than a decade, but the two expanded their agreement last year when the ASC doubled in size, adding three procedure rooms to its existing three operating rooms.
Through the agreement, Viewmont can access Medline’s medical-surgical portfolio and supply chain expertise, as well as monitor key metrics including item utilization, contract compliance, price accuracy and spend by product categories with Medline’s analytics platform.
