The surgeon group opened the four-OR, one-procedure-room center in January 2007, and has now invited ASCOA to invest in the center and manage its high volume. The center’s specialties include ENT, general surgery, GI, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic, spine and urology.

“We’re excited to join these market-leading surgeons in delivering superior outpatient care to the West Phoenix market,” says Chris Bishop, ASCOA vice president of acquisitions. “This state-of-the-art facility has been well-received by the community since its inception, and we are pleased to join them in achieving excellent clinical outcomes.”

The surgeons will retain majority control of the center, and ASCOA will manage the day-to-day business operations. For more information about this facility, visit www.PinnacleSurgery.com.

This venture brings the year-to-date total for ASCOA to 12 new acquisition/de novo surgery center projects. An agreement on one more center is expected to sign by year’s end.
