Highest-paid CRNA work settings

CRNAs working in medical and diagnostic laboratories earn a higher annual median wage than those working in other practice settings, according to May 2024 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, published April 2.

Practitioners working in labs can earn an estimated $302,810 per year, according to the report. 

Here are the five highest-paid settings for CRNAs: 

1. Medical and diagnostic laboratories: $302,810

2. Outpatient care centers: $278,060

3. Specialty hospitals: $259,520

4. General medical and surgical hospitals: $238,770

5. Offices of physicians: $237,230
