A new surgery center in Ames, Iowa, has earned a three-year accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, allowing the facility to begin scheduling patients.
The surgery center, which is a partnership between Mary Greeley Medical Center and McFarland Clinic, both based in Ames, will welcome patients in March, according to a news release from the facility.
Ames Surgery Center is also licensed by the state of Iowa and certified by CMS. It will offer gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, podiatry and urology.
