Mr. Murphy has personally played a key role in the turnaround of more than 30 ambulatory surgery centers. The turnaround partnerships are overseen by Murphy Healthcare’s ASC Turnaround Group.
Mr. Murphy’s main focus is on strategic planning for each center as well as mergers and acquisitions.
He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in health administration from Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y. He sits on the board of trustees of Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y.
Mr. Murphy lives on a farm in Westchester County, N.Y., with his wife and six children.
