Job Opening: Nurse Manager Sought for Manhattan Endoscopy Surgery Center

Carnegie Hill Endoscopy, a new endoscopy ASC under development in Manhattan, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Manager for a new center opening this summer.  Aside from responsibilities listed below, this person will be integral in assisting with the development and start-up process of a new ASC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily clinical staffing and efficient flow of patients through the Endoscopy experience.
  • Recruit, hire, train and assist in evaluating all clinical personnel.
  • Direct supervision of clinical staff in the center.
  • Compliance with all clinical policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring all procedure area purchases, assisting with the preparation of annual budget in conjunction with the Administrator and Medical Directors.
  • Organizing and managing all paperwork and studies necessary for continued certification and accreditation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current NY RN license; BSN preferred.
  • Previous GI experience, preferably two years with current membership in S.G.N.A.
  • ACLS certified – if BLS certified, must be willing to become ACLS within 6 months of employment.
  • Prior experience with AAAHC and DOH surveys a plus
  • Proven leadership skills and strong focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
