The contract ensures that Highmark members will have in-network access to US Digestive’s specialized gastroenterologists in Pennsylvania and Delaware, effective Sept. 20, according to a Sept. 25 press release.
US Digestive’s previous contract with Highmark expired July 1. The GI provider is one of the largest in the country, with more than 40 locations and 24 ASCs across two states.
Highmark provides coverage for approximately 7 million members in Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, and western and northeastern New York.
