The $20 million project broke ground in May 2023 and will span about 20,000 square feet, according to KX News. The facility will house both a clinic and an ASC, and offer specialty care including orthopedic surgery, general surgery and cataract surgery.

The medical clinic will feature 16 exam rooms and a minor procedure room, while the ASC will house four operating rooms and 14 pre- and post-surgical bays, the publication reported. The clinic will open Sept. 3 and the ASC will open in October.

Podiatrist Aaron Albers, DPM, and orthopedic surgeon Daniel Lee, DO, are co-owners of the center.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
