US Oncology, iKnowMed Produce EHR for Cancer Care

US Oncology, a division of McKesson, and iKnow, an electronic health record system, have produced oncology-specific technology, according to a McKesson news release.

The EHR technology is able to compile information that oncologists can use to study patient’s health and examine trends that could impact the future of cancer care. US Oncology acquired iKnowMed EHR in 2004 and linked the system to the company’s Health Informatics group.
