Medical Economics collected data from its physician audience on salaries, productivity, malpractice rates and the state of the profession. The data covers 2023 and was collected during the first and second quarter of 2024.
Forty-five percent of respondents said malpractice premiums increased in 2023, up from 39% in 2023. Thirty-nine percent said malpractice premiums stayed the same, 2% said they decreased and 14% did not know.
