The catheter device that completes the ultrasound, the AcuNav Lumos 4D ICE, provides advanced imaging for complex heart procedures, according to an Aug. 13 news release from the company.

The AI-assisted system is designed to help physicians in performing diagnostic, structural heart disease and electrophysiology-related procedures more efficiently. The features were trained on one of the world’s largest image databases, which contains more than 2 billion annotated images, the release said.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
