Ohio University to launch nurse anesthesia program

Athens-based Ohio University, in collaboration with Columbus-based OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, is launching a new nurse anesthesia program, Spectrum News 1 reported March 4.

The 36-month-long, full-time BSN to DNP program will operate as a track within the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the university. Students will receive hands-on training from OhioHealth Grant Medical Center.

The first cohort of 25 students will begin their studies in the fall.
