The center will include two operating rooms, an endoscopy suite, and pre-surgical preparation and post-surgery recovery areas.
The system performs about 1,400 surgical procedures annually, according to the report. Some of those procedures can now be moved to an outpatient setting.
A surgical center open house and ribbon cutting is planned for next month.
