Texas County Memorial Hospital to open surgery center in February

Houston, Mo.-based Texas County Memorial Hospital is in the final stages of completing a new surgery center set to open in February, according to a Jan. 10 report from Ozark Radio News

The center will include two operating rooms, an endoscopy suite, and pre-surgical preparation and post-surgery recovery areas. 

The system performs about 1,400 surgical procedures annually, according to the report. Some of those procedures can now be moved to an outpatient setting. 

A surgical center open house and ribbon cutting is planned for next month.
