The two entities, PVA Downtown and PVA Medical Center, are expected to close Dec. 4 due to “business difficulties,” according to the letter. Another location in San Antonio will remain open, and the organization does not have a definitive date as to when the location will close.
Thirty employees have been laid off as a result of the closures, according to a WARN notice recently filed with the state.
Peripheral Vascular Associates has eight locations across San Antonio, according to its website.
