The groundbreaking ceremony was held Sept. 12, according to a news release from Community Health Network.

The project includes the addition of two operating rooms and seven patient rooms. The processing/cleaning rooms and front desk area will be remodeled.

The expansion is expected to take 12 to 15 months to complete, but services will not be interrupted during construction.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
