New Jersey physician admits to improperly prescribing oxycodone 

Cherry Hill, N.J.-based Cheh Lu, MD, has pleaded guilty to improperly prescribing oxycodone, the Courier Post reported May 2.

From January 2018 and February 2022, Dr. Lu, 86, allegedly offered prescriptions “without interacting with [patients] by any means or in any way,” a plea agreement said.

Dr. Lu faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million. His attorney declined to comment on the case.
