Optum’s shakes up leadership team: What ASCs need to know 

Optum, parent company of ASC chain SCA Health, has made three major leadership moves since Feb. 2:

1. David Frankenfield, former vice president of enterprise data and analytics at Optum, left his role to join health tech company Amplify Health Asia, where he will serve as Amplify Health’s chief data and analytics officer.

2. Caitlin Zulla, formerly worked as CEO of SCA Health, was promoted to CEO of Optum Health’s east region. Former president Jason Strauss will now serve as the chain’s CEO. 

3. Phil McKoy, Optum’s CIO, took on a new position as Optum’s new enterprise lead, where he Mr. will be responsible for enterprise shared services.
