Dr. Paduch, 55, is also charged with the inducement of a person to travel to engage in unlawful sexual activity and inducement of a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity.
According to a Justice Department news release, Dr. Paduch sexually abused multiple male patients, including minors, while conducting urological exams.
From around 2015 to 2019, Dr. Paduch also induced multiple patients to travel to his medical offices in New York City so he could sexually abuse them. In 2019, he relocated to a hospital in Long Island, N.Y., where he continued to sexually abuse patients, the release said.
He also sent victims text messages, including inappropriate and sexual comments, from his personal cellphone.
