Pennsylvania ophthalmology practice, ASC acquired

Private equity-backed Vision Innovation Partners acquired Northeastern Eye Institute, Standard Speaker reported Aug. 19.

Scranton, Penn.-based Northeastern Eye Institute’s 32 physicians offer ophthalmology services at 15 locations and an ASC.

This is Vision Innovation Partners’ 18th acquisition. The company now boasts a portfolio of 50 practice locations and nine surgery centers.
