The integration adds three gastroenterologists — Michael Fuhrman, MD; Michael Kerner, MD, and Marvin Lipsky, MD — to Summit’s network, according to a May 25 news release. The practice will eventually be branded as Associates in Digestive Diseases, A Summit Health Company.
Summit Health is a physician-led network formed in 2019. It was a merger between Summit Medical Group and CityMD in New York City.
