Kaye/Bassman Posts 21 Percent Increase, Named Best Place to Work in 2008

Executive search firm Kaye/Bassman International has recorded $10.3 million in revenues for the first six months of 2008, a 21 percent gain from a year ago. The firm has expanded into a variety of new industry practice areas, with significant increases in its healthcare and energy practices.

“The economy, although rocky at times, still has a solid foundation by which we can grow. Picking the right industries in which to practice is key to the success,” says Jeff Kaye, CEO. “It is our experience that our clients will work with a lot of talented recruiters in a good economy. As times get tight and more difficult, they limit the field. Those organizations that truly specialize in a targeted micro-niche practice will secure larger percentages of what may be a shrinking market in the short run.”

The announcement comes on the heels of Kaye/Bassman’s being named a “Best Place to Work in Dallas-Fort Worth” for mid-sized companies by the Dallas Business Journal. Kaye/Bassman, the largest single-site search firm in the United States and the nation’s 12th largest executive search firm (according to Hunt-Scanlon Advisors’ rankings reports), has previously earned the recognition in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Greg Zoch is a partner and managing director in the firm’s healthcare practice; he specializes heavily in the ASC world and has served many of the industry’s largest players by finding top talent at the facility and corporate level. Learn more about Kaye/Bassman.
