Dr. Bradley said the hospital ignored physician complaints about hospital inadequacies until two patients died. He also claimed the hospital retaliated by forcing him out of the hospital four years before his five-year contract expired.
Dr. Bradley worked for the non-party Hilliard Group of Bakersfield, Calif., which provided anesthesiology services for Southern California Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Krishnama Raju, MD, the hospital’s chief of orthopedic surgery.
Also included in the lawsuit were anesthesiologist Alan Heng, MD, and hospital COO Corey Seales.
