Ambulatory Healthcare Employment Increases by 13% in October

The ambulatory healthcare industry gained more than 13,000 employees in Oct. 2010, an increase of 13 percent from the month prior, according to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report.

The industry has gained 161,300 employees since Oct. 2009, according to the report. Total seasonally adjusted employment for Oct. 2010 rounded out to 5.975 million.
