Three recent ASC eye practice acquisitions:

1. Nebraska Eye Associates has been acquired by ophthalmology and refractive surgery center owner and operator Vance Thompson Vision.

2. Oceanside, N.Y.-based OCLI acquired the New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based private practice of Ronald Balkin, MD.

3. UPMC and the Institute of Eye Surgery partnered to acquire Clane General Hospital in Kildare, Ireland, laying the foundation of what will soon be a national Ophthalmology Network of Excellence.
