Four things to know:
1. Florida Spine & Pain is the sixth partnership for OCP and further expands its network of physicians in Florida to 45 physicians. Nationally, the company is affiliated with 61 physicians.
2. The interventional pain management practice will gain resources to accelerate growth and aims to attract new physicians as a result of its affiliation with OCP.
3. OCP provides financial liquidity, enhanced resources and capital to affiliated practices.
4. In November, OCP affiliated with Vail, Colo.-based The Steadman Clinic, an orthopedic practice known for treating Olympic and professional athletes. It formed three other partnerships in May, affiliating with Lecanto, Fla.-based Citrus Orthopaedic & Joint Institute, Ocala (Fla.) Orthopedic Care and James B. Duke, MD, also in Ocala.
