HCA Healthcare VP joins eye care company as COO: 4 things to know

Dallas-based EyeCare Services Partners tapped a leader from Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare to serve as chief operating officer.

Four things to know:

1. Dakon H. Montgomery joined ESP, an integrator and consolidator of eye care services, on Nov. 11.

2. Mr. Montgomery was previously a senior vice president in HCA’s ambulatory surgery division in Dallas. He was responsible for four divisions encompassing seven markets and 37 ASCs.

3. His prior titles include vice president for corporate development in HCA’s ambulatory surgery division and vice president of operations for HCA’s far west division.

4. Before joining HCA, Mr. Montgomery was regional vice president of Nashville-based AmSurg.
