Maine Medical Center to build $59M medical office building — 3 insights

Portland-based Maine Medical Center received unanimous approval from the city planning board to build a $59 million medical office building on its campus in Scarborough, Maine, the Portland Press Herald reports.

1. The 108,000-square-foot medical office building is part of a larger $534 million expansion and modernization project for Maine Med.

2. The health system will move the physician practices of Maine Medical Partners into the medical office building.
