What you should know:
1. Salix is giving 10 students living with GI diseases scholarships in recognition of the company’s 30th anniversary.
2. Students will have to write an essay on how living with their GI condition has affected their lives. Scholarships are open to high school and college students as well as working and single parents.
3. The scholarships are funded through the Bausch Foundation, the charitable arm of Bausch Health, which is Salix’s parent company.
