Indiana provider gets green light for orthopedic hospital, surgery center project — 3 notes

Indianapolis-based Methodist Sports Medicine gained approval for its proposed orthopedic hospital, surgery center and medical office building Oct. 15, Current reports.

Three notes:

1. Methodist Sports Medicine plans to build the four-story, 236,231-square-foot Franciscan Orthopedic Center of Excellence in Indianapolis.

2. The Carmel (Ind.) Plan Commission unanimously approved Methodist’s design and plan for the 10.8-acre site.

3. Developers agreed to add trees and other landscaping features to address neighbors’ concerns about light pollution.
