Dr. Shah is director of the gastroenterology fellowship program at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and is an associate program director for the internal medicine residency program. He also is the course director for the University of Virginia GI/hepatology conference.
Dr. Shah has co-authored more than 40 research papers. He received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and completed his gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellowship at the University of Virginia.
