How much do physician practices pay their staff?

Physicians Practice released the results of its 2019 staff salary survey.

Physicians Practice gathered 943 responses for the survey, representing cardiology, family medicine, dermatology and internal medicine practices, among others.

How staff salaries measure up:

1. Over half of nurses employed by physician practices earn between $40,000 and $60,000.

2. Non-physician providers earn over $100,000.

3. Billers and coders earn between $30,001 and $40,000.

4. Desk staff also earn between $30,001 and $40,000.
