Three supply chain management tips:

1. Supply storage. Counting supplies accurately and storing them where they need to go is essential for ASCs struggling with having enough space for supplies.

2. Implement inventory management software. Instead of manually counting and managing supplies, a supply chain management system can allow staff to understand costs and analyze supply use.

3. Maximize efficiencies. Supplies should account for 25 percent of net revenue, making proper management of product prices, vendors and equipment paramount to an ASC’s financial success.
