Dr. Nawras also is a professor of medicine at the University of Toledo and serves as its director of endoscopy.
He previously served as the program director for the University of Toledo’s gastroenterology fellowship program and as director of the advanced endoscopy fellowship program at Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System.
Dr. Nawras completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Albany (New York) Medical College, and his advanced endoscopy fellowship at the Milwaukee-based St. Luke’s Medical Center.
