Dr. Parsons serves as one of the design surgeons for the Exactech GPS system. The system works by creating a 3D image of a patient’s shoulder, which is imported into planning software that allows the surgeon to virtually perform the operation. The Exactech GPS system provides real-time navigation of the surgical plan in the operating room.
Dr. Parsons has two years of experience using the technology and was recently inducted into American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.
