What you should know:
1. The surgery center features three operating rooms devoted to orthopedics.
2. The new center was built to replace a smaller space the surgeons had been leasing.
3. The surgeons could not perform joint replacements in the old center because of limited operating room space. The new center will accommodate knee, shoulder and hip replacements.
4. Bangor Plastic & Hand surgeons will also use the center.
