Hamilton, Mont.-based Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital is offering the public a peak behind the curtain of its new surgery center, the Bitterroot Star reports.

What you should know:

1. The hospital is inviting community members to a grand opening on April 26.

2. Attendees can tour operating suites, sterilization and decontamination areas and pre- and postoperative recovery rooms.

3. Surgeons will perform surgery simulations, including ones involving the da Vinci Robot, throughout the day.

“This is by far the most state-of-the-art facility I’ve seen,” Marcus Daly Memorial’s Surgery Chief James Zubernis, DO, told the Bitterroot Star.
