King of Prussia, Pa.-based The Physicians Integrated Network joined West Reading, Pa.-based Tower Health’s multispecialty physicians network, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports.

1. The Physicians Integrated Network’s 666 Philadelphia-area physicians will join Tower Health’s network.

2. TPIN operates 30 ambulatory facilities.

3. The partnership increases Tower Health Partners’ total network to 2,045 physicians in 52 specialties.

4. TPIN Vice Chairman Stuart Brilliant, MD, said to the Business Journal, “This partnership brings more independent, private practice physicians into their network to improve the quality of care for residents in the Philadelphia area. We’ll almost double the size of the network.”
