4 key ways administrators can achieve success through strong leadership

Four insights:

1. Seek a mentor. Push yourself to learn and seek insight from other ASC leaders.

2. Set practical goals. Start with a basic goal of profitability and benchmarking your ASC’s performance against others.

3. Earn and maintain accreditation. One of the best contract negotiation tools is accreditation.

4. Trust and value your staff. Mentor staff so they can step into leadership positions and use their skills to the best of their abilities.
