Cigna, Humana & now Anthem — Tenet inks another agreement

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. signed a multi-year agreement with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

What you should know:

1. Anthem Blue Cross members will retain in-network access to Tenet’s California providers and facilities, including outpatient centers.

2. Financial details weren’t disclosed.

3. Tenet also announced multi-year deals with Cigna and Humana in January.

“We look forward to serving Anthem Blue Cross members in our communities in California, and continuing to provide them with high-quality, convenient and affordable options for care,” said Tenet Executive Chairman and CEO Ron Rittenmeyer.
