ASGE chooses Barbara Connell as new CEO: 3 details

The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy appointed Barbara Connell as its CEO effective Jan. 1, 2019.

1. She previously served as ASGE’s COO.

2. Ms. Connell oversees ASGE’s Digestive HealthWorks, an ASGE entity that manages small digestive health associations.

3. She also serves as the Association for Bariatric Endoscopy’s executive director.
