Here’s what you should know:
1. Mount Carmel is owned by Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health and is Trinity’s second-largest revenue generator. Trinity operates hospitals and health systems in 22 states.
2. Mount Carmel’s other construction projects in the Columbus area include a 210-bed hospital and a behavioral health hospital.
3. Trinity also wants to create a patient services center in Columbus with 450 full-time equivalent employees to stay ahead of healthcare trends.
