Nashville, Tenn.-based Envision Healthcare named Teresa Sparks its executive vice president and CFO.

1. Ms. Sparks has a vast array of healthcare experience. She most recently was interim CFO at Brentwood, Tenn.-based Brookdale Senior Living and has past experience at Nashville-based Surgery Partners and its predecessor Symbion.

2. She is the Nashville Healthcare Council’s Leadership Health Care program chair and serves on Nashville-based Trevecca Nazarene University’s board.

3. “The organization has a proven record of providing high-quality, patient-centered care, and I look forward to working with those teams to identify opportunities for growth and advance strategies to support the ongoing commitment to creating healthier communities,” said Ms. Sparks on her appointment.
